Disney's Summer Pin Festival 2008

Mickey's Pin Odyssey - Disneyland, California June 20 - August 10, 2008.

With a map in hand, you'll enjoy all the magic exploring, making new friends, trading pins, and experiencing Disneyland as never before.

Specially designed starter lanyards, open and limited edition pins and accessories will be available throughout Disneyland, California Adventure, and Downtown Disney during this special summer festival.

Disneyland special Pin Trading area will be Big Thunder Ranch in Frontierland throughout the summer.

Separate admission is required to enter Disneyland Resort Theme Parks.

Mickey's Pin Odyssey Kick-Off
Saturday, June 21, 2008 Only

*  Open to all Park Guests, this one-time kick-off of the Summer Pin Festival takes place at Disneyland Park's Frontierland - Big Thunder Ranch from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. 

  • Here you will learn everything you need to know to get started on Pin Trading.

  • Featuring the Junior Pin Trading Coral for ages 5 - 12.

  • Also on hand at Big Thunder Ranch from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. for a special appearance and signing to kick-off this summer pin festival will be Disney Design Group Artists Monty Maldovan and Chris Chapman. *

Special merchandise including Booster Packs, Lanyard starter sets, limited edition and open edition pins will be available for purchase.

There will be special Pin Trading Board Carts this summer, one in each of three locations, for limited times‡:

Disneyland Park - Frontierland 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Disney's California Adventure Park - Golden State 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Downtown Disney District - Disney Pin Traders 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Novice Pin Traders will be able to learn everything they need to know about Pin Trading at The Big Thunder Ranch in Disneyland's Frontierland.

Pin Trading is a fun and exciting interactive experience at all Disney Parks, giving you a perfect chance to explore and to trade Cast Member for their special pins.  Be sure to learn about the Cast Members - you might ask where they are from, and you and your child will make new friends as you discover the magic.
